Mesothelioma is one of the most deadly diseases known. Lifespan the patient is not long. Approximately twenty four months from the first time they are diagnosed to their death. In the United States around three thousand people is diagnosed and reported having this mesothelioma disease. Most of them are people who are working hard for a life time providing their families.

The disease mesothelioma defines as a disease attacking the tissue that covers internal organs such as lungs, abdomen, and chest cavity. The mesothelioma disease attack this parts so the result is that fluid is not or barely produced by the tissue that cover the internal organs. The effect is that organs cannot move and working properly. For example lungs, the fluid makes it east to move around when we are breathing. Most of the mesothelioma disease patients have a record of working in a place that highly exposed by asbestos. Though there is no definite or exact research but it is widely known that asbestos is the cause for this disease.

There are four types of mesothelioma disease that exist until now. Pleural mesothelioma is the most common form of this disease. This type of cancer often occurs in the lining of lungs, known as pleura. Peritoneal mesothelioma attack the lining of the abdomen or commonly known as the abdomen mesothelioma. The other is pericardial mesothelioma, this type of mesothelioma disease is very rare, only reported around two hundreds mesothelioma disease internationally. The last is testicular mesothelioma. This one attacks the lining surrounds the testicles or known as the tunica vaginalis.

Diagnosing a mesothelioma disease is not easy, because the symptoms are more common or almost the same as common illness and non specific. Often the patients are not aware about their condition until they are diagnosed having a mesothelioma disease. There are many options in treating this mesothelioma disease, but the common treatment including surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy. Though there is no specific cure for this mesothelioma disease, many people diagnosed with this disease are anxious to do everything possible to fight the disease.
